Time for an update!

I can’t believe I’ve been home for over a month now. I can’t wait to be back and learning!

I’ve been spending my summer working at Six flags as a Guest Relations host.

I’ve also volunteered at a vacation Bible school this last week. It was exhausting but we’ll worth the effort. All of the kids really enjoyed the Bible stories I got to share with them each day!

I’ve been accepted to be apart of the Augustana Choir. I may not have been able to sit down since I got the email!

Where have I been?

Great question.

I’ve had a lot of things going on

  1. I’ve had a lot of fraternity stuff going on P
  • Phi Mu Alpha had Vocal Valentines aka We go around campus and serenade people that purchase our services. It’s a whole lot of fun to watch and perform in.
  • The Zeta Beta Chapter just had its change over ceremony for the new Executive positions and your’s truly is now Chapter Historian.
  1. I’ve been running around like a crazy person trying to get my final papers written and turned in while balancing choir.

So that’s what’s been going on until next time!

Christmas Weeks crazyness

Hello friends lets have a run down of what my life has been.

I have had choir rehearsals out the wazoo until like 9:30 on tuesday and thursday. For Christmas@Augustana.

Now that that concert is done I have another concert on wednesday and Messiah on Saturday and Sunday.

So much singing stacked on top of homework and a relationship.

Hell Week!

We just finished the last dress rehearsal for Hansel & Gretel tonight. Everything is looking good and everyone is excited to perform! Hopefully we can have some pictures up after the performance tomorrow!

Hey Folks!

Here’s what’s been going on with me! So over fall break I got to go back home and sleep. I went and visited all of my high school friends at their rehearsal for their production of Beauty and the Beast! They are doing great and I’m especially proud because my sister Kayla got is playing Belle! On that Sunday I went to visit my best friend Maddie at the Milwaukee Institute of art and design and I got to see all of the artful things that she has been up to.

I decided to head back home to Augie early because PMA was having a province day for province 26. So I had headed back on that Thursday with my brother Steven we took a train to Chicago and then a bus all the way to Augie. Friday I helped my friends in the Music department set up and run the regional National Association for Teaching Singing (NATS)  competition and that was some hard work.  Saturday was the actual province day and we headed over to the University of Iowa with the five other chapters in our province. We worked on a lot of things and had some fun too.

Speed up to now it’s more than halfway through week one and everything is going well! I’m taking Spanish 305 which is a Lit course, Philosophy 205 Life or Death, Music 103 Class voice, and Lsfy 102 Enlightenment to French Revolution.

The Opera is also this week! We had our first dress rehearsal yesterday and the show begins tomorrow! I can’t wait to see how great Hansel & Gretel turns out!
